Picture of a LowE blemish

These looked like light scratches from the inside looking out. Upon closer inspection from outside, it was discovered that they were between the panes on the Low E treatment of the glass. These are fairly common, but there is no common shape or size to Low E blemishes. Higher end window manufacturers have far fewer of these ending up installed in homes. Their quality control and inspection process is a much higher standard.

Classic car glass repaired

This 1969 Mustang was beautifully restored except for the windshield. It had wiper scratches the full sweep of the blades. When we were done, the scratches were gone and it looked awesome. This Cape Coral owner was both happy and impressed.

Scratched glass in Florida

Busch Gardens, Florida.
We are underway on a restoration project at Busch Gardens, Tampa, for the new Penguin exhibit. This exhibit was formerly the Otter exhibit. Otters are very damaging to glass, due to their habit of shell cracking. Where they would normally lay a stone on their stomach to crack open oysters or abalone, they were fascinated by the hardness of glass, thus nearly destroying their own exhibit. We are currently repairing the scratched glass for the future penguin exhibit opening in December, 2014.
