Installer error on Window in Fort Myers

When installing the window this error was made.  By letting the drill graze the glass surface it left deep marks that cannot be fixed.

If you answered "All of them", you are correct. 9 panels with scraper scratches, some severe. Due to our ability to do forensic work with glass, We can easily spot scraper scratches.

One sloppy sub can make a builder look bad.

I learned this the irritating way, and I see it happen again and again. A builder does a great job of building a home, only to have a sloppy sub ruin the glass. Fortunately, I also learned to fix scratched glass. It saved my rear on a big Siesta Key job, then I put the skills to work for others. 69 Camero glass repaired

A beautiful restored 1969 Camero had 2 pieces of glass with issues needing attention. The rear glass had a long, deep scratch, and the driver side door had a big area of soda blast damage. We repaired both pieces in 2 hours time. We saved the owner time and money, and he was able to keep the original glass.

We polish stains from Glass. The joints on butt glass windows have to be sealed, and it is usually clear silicone that is used. Cleaning excess silicone is harder than it looks. Left over silicone shows up later and needs buffed off.
